  1. You failed to explain that Qorvis is the PR firm employed by the Fijian Government as spin doctors to show the Dictatorship in a good light. The author of this article is employed by Qorvis so his opinions are likely to be biased.

  2. Nonsense. Fiji media coverage is riddled with “spin” everywhere. Pacific Scoop is the only news website that tries to provide a wide range of opinion and analysis from all sides. This means we often publish views that we do not necessarily subscribe to in our endeavours to provide overall balance. Unfortunately, most news websites and certainly blogs publish only one-sided content or propaganda. We prefer to treat our readers as intelligent beings and they can make up their own minds. As a commentator, Graham Davis is far more insightful than most regardless of his regime links. For example, we had one perspective from Rowan Callick, an excellent commentor from The Australian, one day, and Graham the next with cross links. – Editor

  3. The reality is simple – Bainimarama didn’t like how the military would be under the control of the people, instead of the other way round.

It is quite cheeky to point out the undemocatic nature of the draft constitution when the clowns currently running Fiji got there without anyone voting for them.
