Solomon Islands: Sir Frank Shares Grief with Tsunami Victims

The Governor General His Excellency Sir Frank Kabui and Lady Grace Kabui has expressed deepest condolences with people of Temotu Province who have suffered the brunt of the Quake and Tsunami that hit the Province on Wednesday.Sir Frank Shares Grief with Tsunami Victims

The Governor General His Excellency Sir Frank Kabui and Lady Grace Kabui has expressed deepest condolences with people of Temotu Province who have suffered the brunt of the Quake and Tsunami that hit the Province on Wednesday.

In a message from Government House today, Sir Frank said they have learned with great sadness the tsunami that hit Temotu Province on 6th February, 2013.

“We offer our sympathy to those who are affected especially to those who have lost their beloved ones and lost their properties as are result of the devastation caused by the tsunami.

Her Majesty the Queen of Solomon Islands has also conveyed her condolence through the Office of the Governor-General as follows:

“I was saddened to hear of the loss of life caused by the tsunami that hit Solomon Islands on Wednesday. Prince Philip and I send our heartfelt sympathy to those families who have lost loved ones. Our prayers and thoughts are with all those who have been affected by this disaster.”

“At this time of great loss and bereavement, please accept our deepest sympathy and condolence to the Government and people of Temotu Province at this time of your most heartfelt sorrow and mourning. Queen Elizabeth II said.

Sir Frank said his family and staff of Government House prayed for God’s comfort, blessing and peace that pass all understanding on our people in Temotu Province.
