Magic Roundabout left Opua, New Zealand Tuesday 16th June and began its 2009 expedition to the South Pacific. OceansWatch leader Chris Bone and his crew will reach Vanuatu in 9 to 10 days to undertake marine conservation projects.

All OceansWatch team wish them fair winds for their trip !

You can follow Magic Roundabout’s adventures on our blog !

We also wanted to thank Chris Larn for his help, time and contributions to this project. Unfortunately, he has had to go back to the U.K. due to changes back home and couldn’t join the 2009 expedition. Chris is also involved in the Transition towns movement in Dorking, U.K. (http://transitiondorking.org.uk/)
